12 Ornaments for Christmas - One
As Christmas rapidly approaches, I simply have not had time to put together a full gift guide for each age for this year. Instead, I decided to focus on one of my favorite traditions - trimming the Christmas tree. Christmas ornaments make lovely gifts for any one on your list. Inspiration: Zentangles
Doodling takes to a new level! This easy-to-learn art form only requires a pen, a paper and an open mind for repetitive patterns. The idea was documented and spread by Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts, who continually come up with new patterns and teach others through seminars on the subject. Their website contains plenty of information - including patterns - to get you started.
I first learned about zentangles a couple of months ago from my niece. I have found it to be a great stress relieving activity.
Here's a few of mine. The shots are quite blurry since they are photos of the originals. One day I will scan them in!
